How we work
Sending a case to a remote CAD designer should be simpler than designing it yourself. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you email us the scan to the moment you produce the case.
The workflow, step by step

Send the case
Email us the scan files and the prescription. Any transfer method works — email attachment, WeTransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox link. No account or portal is needed to start.

We confirm and ask questions
We check that the data is complete and workable before starting. If a margin is unclear, a library is missing or the prescription is ambiguous, we ask first — questions before the design beat revisions afterwards.

The design is made
Your case is designed in the software your lab already uses, following your material, milling strategy and preferred parameters. Every design is checked for margins, contacts, occlusion and minimum thickness before it leaves us.

You receive the files
You get production-ready files back — usually within 24 hours for standard cases — in the format you need for milling or printing.
- 5
Revisions if needed
If something needs to change, tell us what and we adjust it. Revisions on the case we designed are included in the price.
What to send
The cleaner the input data, the better the first design. For most cases we need:
- STL or PLY scan of the prepared arch
- Scan of the opposing arch and the bite registration
- The prescription: indication, tooth numbers, material and shade
- For implant cases: implant system, platform and scanbody library used
- For surgical guides: the CBCT in DICOM format and the guided-surgery kit
- Any photos or notes that affect the aesthetic result
Software and file formats
- We design in the major dental CAD platforms, including exocad and 3Shape.
- Files are delivered as STL, or as a native project file when you want to review and adjust the design yourself.
- We follow your parameters — cement gap, minimum thickness, connector sizes — so files drop straight into your production.
Turnaround and revisions
Standard cases
Crowns, bridges, abutments, trays, night guards and models are normally returned within 24 hours of receiving complete files.
Complex cases
Surgical guides take 2-3 days and full aligner cases 4-5 days, because planning and staging need review before the files are finalised.
Revisions
Adjustments to a design we produced are included. Send your notes and we return the corrected file.
