We produce complete clear aligner setups for clinics and laboratories working with digital orthodontics. Each case includes staged tooth movement, an IPR plan, a treatment simulation video and a report you can present to the patient.

This lets you offer aligner treatment without an in-house orthodontic CAD department, and without slowing down your production.

What we focus on in every clear aligners case

  • Staging. Movement per step kept within biologically sensible limits.

  • IPR planning. Space creation planned and documented per contact.

  • Attachments. Placed where the movement actually needs grip.

  • Patient communication. Video and report ready for the consultation.

Our step-by-step process

  1. 1

Submit your scanned case files and instructions.

  2. 2

We produce the digital design and send it for review.

  3. 3

After approval we deliver the final files.

  4. 4

You receive the project files — ready for production.

How clear aligner setups are designed

An aligner case starts with a segmented arch: each tooth is separated from the scan so it can be moved independently, with the roots estimated from the crown morphology. Segmentation quality determines how realistic the rest of the plan is.

The final position is then defined — arch form, midline, overjet and overbite, contact points — and the movement is split into stages, with per-step limits kept inside what the material can express. Attachments are placed where a tooth needs a grip the aligner cannot otherwise get, and interproximal reduction is planned where space has to come from somewhere.

You receive the staged models ready to print, so trays can be thermoformed in your own lab, together with the treatment sequence.

Cases we design most often

  • Mild to moderate crowding and spacing corrections
  • Relapse and retention cases after fixed appliances
  • Pre-restorative alignment before crowns or veneers
  • Single-arch and dual-arch staged setups

What you get back

  • Printable STL for every stage of the plan
  • Attachment template and IPR schedule
  • Before-and-after positions for patient communication

Clear Aligners design — frequently asked questions

What do I get for an aligner case?
A staged setup with the movement sequence and the models for each step, so you can print and thermoform the aligners in-house.
Can you add attachments and IPR?
Yes. Attachments, interproximal reduction and staging are planned according to your treatment prescription.
How long does aligner design take?
Routine cases are designed overnight. Complex or large cases can take longer, and we tell you the expected time when we confirm the case.
How many revisions are included?
Revisions are unlimited. We keep adjusting the design until it matches your prescription and is ready for production.
Which software do you use, and what do I receive?
We design in 3Shape and deliver the project files, ready to send straight to your mill or printer.
