We design complete dentures digitally, from tooth setup and occlusal scheme through to gingival contouring and base thickness, ready for printing or milling.
Because the whole case is stored as a project file, a repeat denture or a repair becomes a re-print rather than a fresh start.
What we focus on in every full dentures case
Occlusal scheme. Balanced contacts across the arch.
Setup aesthetics. Midline, arch form and tooth proportion checked.
Base fit. Even thickness and relieved undercuts.
Gingival contour. Natural festooning rather than a flat band.
Our step-by-step process
- 1
Submit your scanned case files and instructions.
- 2

How digital complete dentures are designed
A digital complete denture is built in the same order as an analogue one, only measured instead of estimated. The occlusal plane, midline and vertical dimension are transferred from the record, teeth are set from a digital library against those references, and the setup is checked in centric and in excursions before any base is drawn.
The base is then shaped: border extensions following the sulcus of the scanned tissue, palatal thickness controlled for speech, and a gingival contour that supports the lip. Undercuts are relieved so the denture can be inserted without soft-tissue trauma.
The design is exported for printing or milling — monolithic, or split into base and teeth for bonding, depending on how you produce.
Cases we design most often
- Full upper and lower conventional dentures
- Immediate dentures designed from a pre-extraction scan
- Duplicate dentures and copy dentures from an existing prosthesis
- Try-in setups for printing before the definitive design
What you get back
- Printable or millable base and tooth setup files
- Try-in monobloc for clinical verification
- Adjustments carried over into the definitive design
Full Dentures design — frequently asked questions
- Do you design both try-in and final dentures?
- Yes. We prepare monolithic try-ins as well as final designs split into base and teeth for printing or milling.
- How is tooth setup decided?
- From your bite registration, midline and occlusal references, plus any photos you send for aesthetics.
- How long does full denture design take?
- Routine cases are designed overnight. Complex or large cases can take longer, and we tell you the expected time when we confirm the case.
- How many revisions are included?
- Revisions are unlimited. We keep adjusting the design until it matches your prescription and is ready for production.
- Which software do you use, and what do I receive?
- We design in exocad and deliver the project files, ready to send straight to your mill or printer.
