We convert your intraoral scans into printable working models, solid or with removable dies, hollowed and based to keep resin use sensible.

Models are checked for wall thickness and pin fit so they come off the printer usable, not fragile.

What we focus on in every model creator case

  • Die fit. Pins and sockets toleranced for your printer.

  • Wall thickness. Hollowed without weakening the base.

  • Trimming. Clean, consistent model borders.

  • Labelling. Case reference embossed on the base on request.

Our step-by-step process

  1. 1

Submit your scanned case files and instructions.

  2. 2

We produce the digital design and send it for review.

  3. 3

After approval we deliver the final files.

  4. 4

You receive the stl file — ready for production.

How printable dental models are prepared

A digital scan is not a printable model. The mesh has to be closed, given a base of even thickness, trimmed to the working area and oriented so it prints without a supported occlusal surface. Hollowing reduces resin use, and the wall thickness is kept high enough that the model does not warp as it cures.

Where the case needs it, the model is sectioned into removable dies with a friction fit that holds the die in place without splitting the base, plus articulation features so upper and lower relate correctly on the bench.

Models can also be prepared with implant analog housings positioned from the scan bodies, so the analog sits in the exact planned position.

Model types we prepare

  • Solid and hollowed working models
  • Sectioned models with removable dies
  • Implant models with analog housings
  • Articulated upper and lower sets

What we need to start

  • The intraoral or lab scan of the arch
  • Whether you need dies, analogs or articulation
  • Your printer, so base thickness and orientation suit it
