Full-arch rehabilitation asks more of a design than a single unit does: the occlusal scheme, the lip support and the aesthetics all have to agree. We handle those cases end to end.
For highly aesthetic work we sculpt in Blender, adding surface texture and character that a library tooth cannot give you.
What we focus on in every blender & full arch case
Occlusal scheme. Load distributed across the whole arch.
Aesthetic mock-up. Midline, incisal plane and proportion set first.
Surface texture. Sculpted detail that reads as natural.
Production readiness. Geometry checked for milling and printing.
Our step-by-step process
- 1
Submit your scanned case files and instructions.
- 2
We produce the digital design and send it for review.
- 3
After approval we deliver the final files.
- 4
You receive the stl file — ready for production.
How full-arch cases are refined in Blender
Some full-arch work reaches the limit of what parametric dental CAD will do. Blender picks up from there: the arch exported from the dental software is sculpted directly, so surface texture, gingival architecture and tooth morphology can be shaped with a level of control that library-based tools do not offer.
That matters most on visible full-arch prostheses, where the difference between an acceptable result and a convincing one is in the details — perikymata, lobes, incisal translucency zones, and a gingival contour that reads as tissue rather than as pink plastic.
The refined mesh is checked back against the functional design, so aesthetics are added without losing the occlusion, thickness and connector geometry that the case needs to survive.
Where this is worth doing
- Visible full-arch screw-retained prostheses
- Monolithic zirconia arches needing natural surface texture
- Custom gingival architecture on hybrid restorations
- Anterior aesthetic cases with high patient expectations
What you get back
- Refined, watertight mesh ready for milling or printing
- Renders for patient and clinician approval before production
- Functional design preserved underneath the aesthetic work
Blender & Full Arch design — frequently asked questions
- When is Blender used instead of standard CAD?
- For full-arch and complex aesthetic work where free-form sculpting gives better control over morphology and surface texture.
- Can you design full-arch screw-retained restorations?
- Yes, including screw-channel positioning, intaglio design and the transition to the tissue.
- How long does full-arch design take?
- Routine cases are designed overnight. Complex or large cases can take longer, and we tell you the expected time when we confirm the case.
- How many revisions are included?
- Revisions are unlimited. We keep adjusting the design until it matches your prescription and is ready for production.
- Which software do you use, and what do I receive?
- We design in exocad & Blender and deliver the stl file, ready to send straight to your mill or printer.
